This week the Refugee Readiness Hub highlights BC Refugees JobConnect – an online tool designed to support connection between job-ready refugees and employers. This Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IEC-BC) project collects information on the skills, education and work experience of BC’s recently arrived refugees to create occupational profiles or online resumes. These profiles are then promoted out to BC employers via the BC Refugees Job Connect website and the employer networks of IEC-BC. Job seekers and employers go to www.bcrefugeesjobconnect.ca to upload information or to find workers.
